Itinerary

Our itinerary has been given to us in the “trip bible”, established, we think, by our Ride Commish and Nel, the Europe-based operator of Andiamo Adventours.  Why it is called a “trip bible” is something of a mystery since we are a group of mixed philosophy and cultural allegiance (Come on!  Half of our members are from San Francisco!), but presumably it’s meant to be authoritative and preempt argument.  A better name might be the “trip Kama Sutra” since it’s all about cyclists putting themselves in difficult positions in search of a few thrills.

Meanwhile, the current weather forecast for the next 7 days on L’Alpe d’Huez:  low of 30, high of 50, rain mixed with snow.  Bike 'n Ski. Whoopee!
